About the Border Counties Heritage Network

Membership will allow you to:

Post your contact details and a description of your group

This is a great advantage if yours is a small heritage group that doesn't want the expense of running a full website. Contact details change every time there is a change in secretary. Through this website you will be able to let people know how to keep in touch with you.

Advertise your events on our rolling events calendar

Have you ever booked an event and found that it clashes with something very similar which is on at the same time at a nearby venue? Membership will allow you to post your events along with those of other heritage groups. You will be able to see what other events are already organised and where they are taking place. Click here to view the heritage events section of this website.

Keep up to date with other groups and with training and funding opportunities

Membership will allow you to contact other groups easily and to see what events they are planning. Click here to see heritage groups that are already registered. This site will also inform heritage groups of upcoming heritage-related training and funding opportunities.

Information and training evenings

The Society is running a series of information and training sessions on the networking part of the website - details on our events page. If your group would like a training date nearer your area, please let us know and if there are sufficient numbers, this can be arranged on either side of the border.

This project has been funded by a grant from the Heritage Council of Ireland. It has also received funding from Cavan-Monaghan Rural Development Co-op under the National Rural Development Programme.
