Bealach na nGael


Bealach na nGael is a Cavan/Monaghan based organisation specialising in the historical re-creations of the Gaelic periods of Irish History.

The group which was formed in 2001 has been involved in many festivals and events throughout the country in past number of years.
Including:

  • The organisation of an all Gaelic festival in the Co. Meath Gaelteach of Rath Cairn in 2001, 2002 & 2003
  • Samhain & Seachtain na Gaelige festivals - Monaghan County Libraries
  • Seachtain na Gaeilge festivals - Cavan County Libraries
  • Samhain Festival -Monaghan County Museum
  • Rural History Project -Clogher Historical Society
  • Various demonstrations in individual schools throughout counties Monaghan/Cavan
  • Patrick's Day Parade in Cootehill Co. Cavan and Monaghan town
