The National Monuments Service hosts this excellent website. It
includes a monuments database with links to maps of all of the
registered monuments in the Republic of Ireland. Also, excavation
reports, shipwrecks, codes of practice etc.

County Museum
The museum collects, conserves and exhibits artefacts and also has a
reference library holding books on subjects such as St Patrick,
transportation to Australia, crime and punishment.
Excavations.ie
Online database of Irish excavation reports. Contains summary
accounts of all the excavations carried out in Ireland - North and
South - from 1970 to 2000.
Fermanagh County Museum
Along with collections of local artefacts from the earliest times,
this progressive museum runs an education programme working closely
with local schools and libraries.
INSTAR web archive
INSTAR [the Irish National Strategic Archaeological Research] is a
Heritage Council funded programme for thematic archaeological
research. The web archive is a searchable archive of archaeological
reports.
Institute of Archaeologists of
Ireland
The Institute of Archaeologists of Ireland (IAI) was founded in 2001
and is a professional organisation representing archaeologists
working throughout Ireland. Our membership includes all sectors of
the profession in both jurisdictions.
Millmount Museum
Located in the centre of Drogheda, County Louth overlooking the
historic River Boyne. Site includes events listings and information
on the museum's displays, guided tours and group visits.
